Design 2409 Gitana Senior

Gitana Senior (Z 78) was one of the last modern 6-meters to be designed by the firm. She was built for Baron Edmond de Rothschild of Switzerland at Chantier Naval Egger of St-Aubin, Switzerland. She was constructed of wood using cold molded techniques and materials.

And finally here is a very dapper Roderick Stephens at the yard inspecting the work, very late in his career. The boat was launched in 1982. She makes Geneva her home port.
